I've never heard that Esquer is a bad guy/ He's a good friend of PC's and that might signal something.
You may have him confused with his predecessor, who did not endear himself to his players or his coaches.

Say what you will about the old coach, but his teams always conducted themselves with class. |

Stanford backed it up. If we could have hit with a 5-0 lead we may have one. Funny when opposing fans chirp and team is chippy we see them as classless. If we do it. Well? It is and was intense. Our hitting caused a great first game to be a loss. Maybe they have good starters. Obviously their bullpen did well too. U of o and Arizona will provide better hitting than Stanford.

And coming from Goss fans, especially the few drunkards on the visitor's dugout side, calling anyone out for being classless is pretty funny. Also funny is that the HP ump talked to (2) of our pitchers and 2B ump one of our INF, but it was ALL Furd. The "cry baby" syndrome fans after mouthing off for the first 3 innings, then losing. At least the players have the excuse of playing the game and having the intensity of great competition. |
