Wow. Shocking.
I hope she can get better and get back on the court if she wants to.

And another reason why we should be kind to those who transfer.

she was always so energetic on the court. I imagine her stomach condition influenced her decision to return to Arkansas. best of luck to Sasha

1. Nothing but best wishes for health and healing for Sasha.
2. I’ll take this as as a personal reminder that we really have no idea what may be going on in players lives beyond the tiny fraction of it we see on the court.

From what I recall, her dad said as much on point two when she left OSU. In reality, she probably had little choice but to live close to her family as they continued to pursue treatment. I imagine the anxiety of the pandemic did nothing but make her condition worse.

Neighbors had her defending the post, that's how she got all of those blocks. I bet that wasn't stressful. I wonder if he knew about her condition?

Notice about the 9th reply down to Sasha's note. Maybe "we are family" captures at least some of the spirit of the team.

So, before we judge a transfer, perhaps we should assume there is a good reason behind it, support that athlete AND not denigrate his/her value to the team. They're kids, not traitors.

So, before we judge a transfer, perhaps we should assume there is a good reason behind it, support that athlete AND not denigrate his/her value to the team. They're kids, not traitors. Especially with Sasha. It was certainly not a case of playing time with her. She would have been the focus of the offense this year had she stayed with the Beev's.
