The team has matured a lot over the month+ of this season. There’s a sense of trust and unity with the team that takes me back to the ‘17 & ‘18 teams. Confidence.
On Saturday, nothing went our way, but we still fought and clawed all the way back to nearly get the win. Resilience.
Yes, pitching is our greatest weakness right now as we are forced to play guys who would still be developing. But we are still getting the wins. And few of the losses can be directly pinned on the pitching staff.
Besides, the air is nicer at the top. And it’s always better to have the Ducks lookin up at us than vice versa.

If we can get Pfennings back healthy, and figure out our closer situation, this team can go a long ways. Every teams have things they need to improve on. Also,a lack of left handed pitching could be concerning. You might have one answer to the two questions you posed in your first Sentence. Ben F did great as a Sunday starter against a Cal team who is hitting the ball well right now. Leave him in that slot... Pfennings is your closer. I have it on NO Good authority this is the plan. Just my little arm chair head coach move. I'd go for that! Repressurizes him and keeps his pitch count low til he gets up to speed! Besides, arm chair coachin' is what we do!

Pfennings vs Pfennigs is the new Haas vs Hass.
Half of our own fans get it wrong.
