Regardless to what happens to us, any day is made just a little bit better when any UO team loses. That's my bottom line.

Another fun fact. They were in the real tournament and we are in the no one cares tournament. 32 of the WNIT TEAMS HAVE 20 OR MORE WINS. It appears to me these teams were not all that bad! Just caps on the big dance for amount of teams. There’s alot of teams in D-1. Not bad, but not good enough to be in the real tournament

Fun Fact: Belmont lost to Arkansas by 20 pts. Ducks looked out of sync all day, their team chemistry is worrisome. GO BEAVS! Another fun fact. They were in the real tournament and we are in the no one cares tournament. I care, but then I do consider myself a nobody, and I like WBB.

Kelly Graves' quote after the game:
“Credit them, the first thing we wanted to do defensively, our game plan was to take away the three-point line and they made 12. They took 36, but they made 12. We made four. I’m not a rocket scientist, but that’s a 20-point difference."
12x3=36; 4x3=12. 36-12=24.
Darn right he's not a rocket scientist.

I was shocked as the game continued, how many open looks from 3 Belmont was getting. Whatever the plan was, it didn't get executed very well.
Graves has had an outstanding career, but the last 2 years have been significantly underachieving. He might be at a crossroads soon, can he keep things rolling at UO post Ionescu/Hebard/Sabally, or is this underachieving and mediocrity going to continue?

Maybe it was to just let them shoot uncontested 3’s…

Super recruits Scherr, Parrish, and Watson got a total of 3 points this game.
But to be fair to Oregon, the big three of Sabally, Paopao, and Rogers never really had a chance to develop a game rhythm together being out with injuries so much.
If Sabally really goes pro they are going to have a hard time getting much better next year.

Unless you think our highly rated recruits will have a larger impact on a 6-9 Pac12 team? But, their equally highly rated class with two quality bigs and a talented PG won't? The top teams in the Pac12 aren't going backwards next season.

I can feel bad for their players, they are just kids. As for Graves getting sent home, not in the least. He is such an arrogant prick and condescending a-hole, Chip Kelly redux more interested in eating donuts. He seems burned out and disinterested in adapting so I hope that is not the case he leaves for early retirement and if he retires early and they actually got a good coach in there I would say watch out. I relish in his demise because he seems to be a miserable coaching right now.

I heard rumors Graves is dealing with some sort of illness, thus the massive weight gain but he looks unwell. I am betting he is out on his own merits within two years from now. Imagine if they got someone like the young Belmont coach in. Or people hate this, Mr Campbell. Just as a question what is Coach Ruecks longevity with the fan base? If it is another 4 years out and no top one or two finish in the p-12 is that okay?

Ah, so you think Basham is going to take up right where Sabally left off? Yeah, I don't. And if you do I'd say you are the only person who does....including her parents. She seems like she has a good future, but in Graves own words "she will develop into blah blah". Maybe she will surprise everyone next season. And Gray seems like the real thing (since you brought her up) but who is she going to replace? Paopao or Rogers? OSU recruits next season seem like they all have a possibility of fulfilling a real need. I don't see any of the Duck recruits stepping in and fulfilling a real need. I'm not saying they are bad recruits, just that there is someone in front of them they are not going to replace next year. If you disagree then who do you see replacing who as a starter? Or you can make some weird post that has nothing to do with what I just said.
