I was smart to quit watching. Utah is getting destroyed now. Don't really love the idea of Stanford potentially having to face Texas again. Horns beat them early in the year. They are Jekyll and Hyde, but Vic sure can get a team to play defense.

78-56 final. Game was pretty much over early in Q2. McQueen and Johnson both in double figures for Utah, but almost no help from anybody else.

Utah shot 51% from the floor, but had 19 TOs and Texas shot 63%.

Two #2 seeds lose in the 2nd Round. Shocking! Baylor was never really in it against South Dakota.
Gonzaga hanging tough against Louisville, down 4 at halftime.

Tourney is going like the regular season with not many showing dominance and upsets all around. I can't remember a season like this and I've been watching for a long time.

Stanford muddling thru their game against Kansas. Up 33-31 at the half. They'll probably have a big run at some point, but they spend so much time playing so far below their ceiling, they drive me nuts. For a bunch of smart kids, they also have some really bone headed turnovers.
Iowa St. dismantled Georgia. SEC teams dropping like flies again, it's what they do.

South Dakota upsetting Baylor in Waco was cool

That's more like it. Stanford up 19 thru Q3. Lexie totally went off that quarter, we've seen that a few times in her career.

Speaking of dropping like flies, Pac12 showing a down year as well in the tourney. When you have teams like Colorado, Wash St, and Utah, that aren't programs that make the field most years, it's tough to gain that experience to win, with the season being on the line each game. Two that normally are going to be there, UCLA and Oregon State, may have a shot at playing each other again in the WNIT. Let's just make it past New Mexico first.

Okay, Lexie was unconscious in the 2nd half. She has 36 points, 14-21 shooting, 6-11 behind the arc. She's outscored Kansas by herself in the 2nd half. 6 rebounds and 6 steals for good measure. Jones and Brink get most of the publicity, but I think she's every bit as important to the Card as those other 2.

They are ridiculously intense. On the rare night that their shots aren't falling they make up for it by being a bigger pia in every other way. What they bring is not easy to replace. I will really miss watching them play.

Both she and Lacey took part in senior night of that means anything. I also heard it mentioned during the pac 12 tournament that they were not going to be returning. If they want they both could continuing to play ball, not sure about wnba but overseas for sure.

The Hull twins and Anna Wilson not returning to Stanford is like a little rainbow on a cloudy day. I wish them luck in the tourney and post college ball.

Not many Pac-12 teams left, today AZ plays North Carolina at 7 PDT on ESPN2, or see the link below, and at 5 PDT Ohio State plays LSU. I get a lot of joy out of seeing crazy Kim M. lose, odds don't look good they will though. arizonawildcats.com/sports/womens-basketball/schedule
