I was told todays game would be close. Winning by a touchdown and a field goal still doesn’t seem that close.

Melton's HR was mammoth. Halfway up the batters eye in dead center. I've been watching OSU baseball for more than 35 years and not many players have ever hit one there.

Listened to the game while fixing fences in the pasture. Sounds like we have found a 3B. What is up with the run game, never have I ever seen a Beaver team swipe so many bases Melton will cool off in a bit, of course that would make him merely human.

But Melton had 2 SB. It wasn't even close. He stole 3rd on what looked like a pitch out and went in standing up. Could be the pitcher not holding the runners. idk. I think of it as good scouting by the advance staff. |
