Excellent. A little harder to project Gillett as he jumped up 2 weight classes this season and another season to go.

Nice … I would guess 141 with the weight gains. I wonder if there is one more out there. Nate tweeted one a couple weeks ago and again this week. I wonder if it’s two different t recruits.

I saw on a Twitter post that Mateo de la Peña of Washington will be a future Beav. I haven’t seen it on any official commitments posts from OSU or coaches but they were tagged. If true he is a pretty tough kid out of Washington. Finished 5th at Virginia Beach. Quintanilla won the tournament - a kid I hope we are after and can grab before his stock skyrockets.

Pendleton was making his rounds at NE Regionals in Centralia Wa this weekend. Some future Beavs competing and some current Beavs there showing program support.

Looks like it's 2 in-state hammers.
Ayden Garver now shows as a commit via Intermat.
DJ Gillett, Garver and de la Pena is a pretty nice weekend.

Very good - Garver 2nd at nationals this past weekend. I agree - nice haul. I am sure they are amping up the recruiting right now.

Saw a comment on Facebook that Jackson Rosario will be at OSU next year as well. He has been at Campbell. Hoping we can bring in some more of those kids on that list!

Truth be told... If we could keep all the best kids from Oregon, Idaho, WA, MT and a few hear and there from CA and other states, we would have a great roster for the staff to work with.
Saw CJ won the Northwest Regional this weekend. Thor Michaelson ripped through his weight. Attao (HWT from Idaho) also tore through his brackets. Some good wrestlers going up there - glad pendleton was up there to plant seeds and have conversations.
