Garver would be a good one. His ankle injury set him back a little this year. I had read in an interview after state that he wasn't going to decide until after NHSCA nationals - but of course that could have changed.

Garver would be a great addition , personally I think we need some to add some depth at 174.

Our greatest need for immediate depth next year will be HWT. I am assuming we will maybe get a JC or D1 transfer.

Yep - currently that would leave 2 freshman on the roster as it stands. Barnes has wrestled very little this year. Hastriter has gotten in quite a few matches however.

You sure he's still on the team? He's listed on the roster, however he is not listed in track, wrestlestat and he has not wrestled one match this season. My guess is a transfer either way.

I figured he was redshirting or something. I'm definitely not sure about his roster status...lol It's probably Schultz conference for awhile either way |

Yeah, Schultz is the guy for the next two years unless he doesn't stay for the 6th year to focus strictly on greco. I would like to see Hastriter get another year under his belt to bulk up and get some experience. Wouldn't it be interesting to get Tate Orndorff in as a grad transfer - He originally committed to OSU...along with the family connections and the fact that we would get two Buckeye transfers. It would be a fun story. |

Really need to see all the redshirt freshman get in as many matches as possible this Spring and Summer. Big confidence leaps can be made in the off season. There should be many opportunities for them to participate in open tournaments for both Freestyle & Greco.
