I would be surprised if Olmos got one. There are only 4 at large spots for 174.... Here is who is in the mix who earned an AQ but lost out at conference. Most of them have a better winning percentage, more quality wins and a better conference finish.
Sam Wolf, Air Force 17-7 Chris Foca, Cornell - 23-6 Beat Olmos head to head, ranked higher - Med FFT at conference Bailee O’Reilly, Minnesota 25-9 Sal Perrine, Ohio 24-4 Aaron Olmos, Oregon State 18-8 Best win is Austin Murphy Gerrit Nijenhaus, Purdue 17-13 but has wins over several top 25 including Labriola

I didn't realize they took a team point from us because Olguin tossed his head gear in ELATION after the biggest win of his career.
I know the rules, but damn. That hurts. We lost by half a point.

I am pretty sure that ASU lost a point somewhere in the finals as well.

Much better than in previous years. It just seems that we wrestle better in the 3 rd than we used to under Z. More aggressive, better fitness. Z’s teams always seemed to be trying to survive the third.

About what I expected, likely just on the outside of the cut...

Pac-12 at large - Abas, Valencia and Lorenzo (Cal Poly 125). 174 lbs Chris Foca (Cornell) Gerrit Nijenhuis (Purdue) Bailee O'Reilly (Minnesota) Sal Perrine (Ohio) Here's the entire list: intermatwrestle.com/articles/25594

Thanks for the heads up on the Trey interview- love that kid - he's going to be a good one
Looks like 4 of the guys I listed in a previous post got the at-large and Olmos will stay home - too bad - he's a good kid and I am sure nobody feels worse than him to end his season like that.
8 guys in - will be nice to have a lot of kids to follow - Traub, Munoz and Grant Willits should be our highest seeded guys - between #9-#12 for all of them I am guessing.
We are definitely on the rise - it says a lot when guys from Iowa and Ohio are coming out West to wrestle.

Wittlake had a tough season - didn't get an At-large. Yeah, I knew TW hurt his knee and was questionable to even participate in the B12 tourney. Rough 2nd half of the season for the other OSU between injuries To Wittlake, Sheets and AJ Ferrari lucky to be alive at all. 4th place finish in B12 and snapped their 9 year win streak.
