Re: Clark...really? Is that confirmed or just a rumor? Most thought she was headed to Notre Dame, I find it hard to believe OSU was the runner up. Also, she just wouldn't be the same player if she was in Corvallis. Rueck simply wouldn't allow her to play with as much freedom as she enjoys at Iowa. Obviously we will never know (unless she transfers here) but I am pretty sure you would see much the same Catlin Clark here that you see at Iowa. You would also see this board blowing up about her 126 turnovers. There were two players I wanted the most in that class, Catlin Clark, and Sasha Goforth, (Ok, I would have taken Paige Buecker as well), but now I don't want Clark on my team now because I wouldn't be able to handle all the complaints about her TO's. I don't think anyone on this board is said the Beavs were the runner up for Clark, but she did visit here, and certainly gave the Beavs consideration.

Does anyone out there have a link for the presser for the ASU coach for the game?

CTT @ 1:44 “they knew they could cover the spread, and we did, so I’m proud of them for that” Whaaaat?

CTT @ 1:44 “they knew they could cover the spread, and we did, so I’m proud of them for that” Whaaaat? YIKES!!!! I can't believe she would say something so stupid and if the players are aware of the spread it is huge red flag. There are not typically lines on women's games but maybe a few players thought they would enhance their NIL money? ASU got in trouble for this a long time ago (25 years?) with Headache Smith. I'm guessing the NCAA / FBI will take a quick look and then decide to see if they want to investigate.

Taya Hanson/ASU is such a nice young lady. I've always been so impressed with her in every interview.

So, even when the question gave her a chance to give OSU some credit, she didn't. Rueck always gives credit to the other team for their good defensive or offensive efforts. I'm confused, when asked about the NIT, she will "think about it". Is there a downside to playing in it that I am unaware of ?

Weird comment, but pretty innocent in the whole scheme of things. Many folks know spreads that have never wagered a penny.

There were many things to like about this game. After the lucky bank-shot 3 took away almost everything that was left of the 4th-quarter lead, the Beavers dug in, played a solid final minute or two, and finalized the victory. This felt like a significant point of growth for them. Especially enjoyable was the play of Kampschroeder. She narrowly missed some open 3's early, but played intense defense throughout and was aggressive to the hoop. That scream she let out on her tough 3-point play at the hoop showed a personality we haven't seen this season. I think we'll see much more of that. And of course she was in the game at the end and was part of the key play when she scored off of TVO's long pass. She has had a solid freshman year, disappointing to some because she didn't always play like an upperclassman. I can't wait to see what her sophomore year brings. In case any of you missed Greta's reaction that is being talked about, this is it.

Putin bet many rubles on that game.
