This is despite the fact that they had a pretty decent year last year.
I expect Goss to be packed by the Beaver faithful.

The quotation marks should be around the 1400. The pictures I saw 500 of them must have been dressed as empty seats

hard to draw a crowd in sub 40 temps. And... WTFC So weird there always ends up to be an uck reference or comparison. Guess their attendance really didn't hurt their 5-1 record vs OSU last year! Game is played on the field, not in the stands. The constant 'lil bro" posts... dismissive, comparisons, etc... just are so old. And, like this thread completely meaningless.

Strange that fans of two arch-rival programs 40 miles apart would ever think of comparing themselves to each other. I don't get it. You'd never see Alabama-Auburn, USC-UCLA, Michigan-Ohio State or Carolina-Duke comparing themselves to each other. Maybe baseba1111 or scubasteve can check in too.

Yep... nothing like being just like the fans often chided on here. Comparison is one thing, being elitist over such nonsense as attendance at a NC series, in the 40s, and maybe a holiday weekend. Especially after they dominated the most recent series. But, you do you.

ucks lost 3-4 to a USD team that is now 4-3 going back and forth with UNLV and Fresno….. and they beat St Johns up…. Which looks a little like Bronx high school team…. They’re playing UCSB this weekend…
But really, I don’t care.
Just want to beat the eaters.

ManhattAn College is in Riverdale, which is in the Bronx, right next to Van Courtland Park. It's also the only D1 university nicknamed the Jaspers. Most associate the Kennedy family with Massachusetts, but it lived in Riverdale for many years. So RFK wasn't a total carpetbagger when he ran for Senator from New York in 1964.
And it's perfectly OK for Beaver fans to take shots at the Ducks on any topic, including baseball attendance (and vice-versa). It's what rivals do.

And it's perfectly OK for Beaver fans to take shots at the Ducks on any topic, including baseball attendance (and vice-versa). It's what rivals do. Precisely. The only thing I like about the ducks is how unlikable (at least to me) they are. I come to this board to follow my favorite college teams and my second favorite college teams which are whoever uofOwned is playing next. If you don't like reading the criticism of them because you don't loathe them (or you actually root for them) as much as I and others on the board then just don't read it. Simple. And to be concerned about all the criticism because of how it makes Beaver fans look: Who cares? It's as if some on this board think the ducks are a class act and are worried how their fan base views the Beaver fan base. If you ever find yourself even remotely concerned about optics, for starters, just refresh your memory on the circumstances surrounding the re-establishment of their baseball team after our second national championship and relay that to the duck fans you know. Any negativity we type on this board will never come close to those optics.
