Is TVO benched, in the dog house, fouls?? If she's benched, betting she's gone in 23'.. The bet is she hits the road along with an assistant coach possibly. But that is a guess........... So, the plan is to chase off all of our all conference players??? That ought to work swell... Stupid move....

We have lost 7 out of the last 9 games, 6 of those losses by double digits. We don't have great talent this year, but I don't think it is so bad that we should have collapsed like this in the second half of the season.

Team speed is bad, team defense is bad, scoring is bad. Face it folks, this team is not good. SR needs some more pieces to complete this puzzle. Going in as an 8 seed to the Pac12 tournament. Haven't been in that side of the bracket for a while. If this team really is improving, competing and getting better as SR claims every week, better show it now. Sorry but at this point I just can't be as positive as some other fans. I don't want to hear how hard it is to compete in the Pac12 anymore. Other programs have caught up to, and passed the Beavs. Better get to work on the recruiting trail Scott.

The Mack/Corosdale backcourt in the second half was genius coaching...NOT. Scott's...uh, nothing.
TVO's tears were heartrending, telling; may she return to continue and amplify her brilliance.
Love y'all, WBB Beavs.

Love y'all, WBB Beavs. Yes, that broke my heart. A torn confused young lady isn’t what anyone wants to see. Noelle is help defensively against CAL, I get that, . She is not the offensive threat that TVO or TJ CODDING or TEA is. Seems spiteful ??

Something is going on the last few games the TVO playing/ benching situation just seems eerily familiar. SR really can't afford that situation to rear its ugly head again!

Is TVO benched, in the dog house, fouls?? If she's benched, betting she's gone in 23'.. Thinking about 3rd qtr>>> So I didn't get to watch the game live, because I can't access Pac-12 mountian on the app. I was totaly frustrated listening to the radio broadcast. I was able to watch the replay. TVO is by far our best offensive player. She is also our most emotional player, and was very frustrated with the way she was shooting. She wants to win. At the same time, she is a solid on ball defender, but she had a very, very rough game off ball. There were 5 possessions where we gave up layups because of an off ball mistake by TVO. One time she let her player cut infront of her face for a layup, and I think 4 different times her player set a cross screen on a post, and instead of TVO helping until the post recovered, she just stayed with her player. I'm sure that was the reason for a couple of the benchings.

I'm sure that was the reason for a couple of the benchings. I can assure you that was the reason for benching TvO. And that is why Destiny Slocum was benched at times. Rueck is a defense first coach. If the team is consistently giving up easy buckets because of your individual defensive lapses, Rueck will sit you and you'll get you some coaching before being inserted back in the game. TvO is a warrior, and sometimes as a freshman, I'm sure she wants to make up for defensive lapses on the offensive end, and then gets into a downward spiral. TvO is going to be a great OSU player once she gets some offensive help, and commits herself on the defensive end to being a great "team" defender as well as individual defender. Aleah Goodman got burned frequently as a freshman, and ended up being a very good defender by her senior year.

Since some say Rueck is a defense first coach can some body please explain the following: 1. Why can't our players get through screens? Time after time, game after game a screen on the wing lets the dribbler get past the defender and dribble to the free throw lane for generally a short uncontested jump shot as for some reason our players under the hoop don't come out to contest the shot. 2. Why are opposing defenses within a foot of our offensive players but we slack off three plus feet? 3. When we are in a zone why are we unable to guard the opposing team shooters? Time after time we are scrambling to try and cover a wide open shooter.
We aren't quick nor aggressive. If we play defense in practice like we do in games its no wonder the offense has a hard time handling the ball. The offense is not use to that kind of pressure. The saying you play like you practice is true.

The saying you play like you practice is true. All I can say is if you go back in recent history, we had kids that fought through screens, or, at least were able to anticipate a screen and get there before the screener. We also had good team communication on defense. I don't think we have either with the current squad. We don't have any Gabby Hansons, Katie McWilliams, Pivecs, Jamie Weisner's yet. Some of our team members (Greta, AJ) I think will get there, but we need some kids that are tough as nails like Pivec and Jamie.
