I think I’ll take a break until the Pac-12 season starts up. 😜

Huskies played Cal Poly. Big difference from UCI.
UCI lost two of three to Louisiana away from home.

Projected to go 45-11 in Massey. I ran the Warren Nolan simulator, which has Oregon State going 29-3 in the Pac-12 and 50-5 overall. The simulation has Oregon State dropping the road series against Arizona and a game to California, Grand Canyon and Nevada. We'll see.

I think it is more of a comment on the(hopefully) short term pitching situation for the Beavers than a snipe at the team. Hjerpe is the lone, proven starter. Kmatz may well be quality, but he has yet to go deep. We will see, but I understand his pick.

I kind of thought the same thing, but at the same time it's not like Frisch and Pfennigs are totally proven commodities either. 2 weekend starters, sure, but if we are a totally different team without them then we aren't as deep a staff as we thoughts, or even he was talking about just a few days ago. I know it doesn't matter, but maybe a little extra motivation for the pitching staff and team. Prove him wrong Beavs!
