If we actually played defense and got through screens or switched we might be ahead. Our defense is really bad in pretty much all phases. But its not new its been this way all year. They are second or third in defense in the Pac-12 depending on what you look at. You have high expectations. Mr Speaknotthetruth. Just to set the record straight before yesterday the team was eighth in points allowed per game. And 8th in points scored per game. And as it turns out 8th in league standings. In this case stats tell the story.

The big thing to me in this game was the fact that without TJ, we are really just a tall team but we are just so soft down low. I knew the Jones' injury was bad, but I thought we would be able to manage OK with Brown and Mitrovic. That just hasn't been the case. Hopefully these set backs will motivate the team to come back stronger.

For any Beaver fans that actually end up watching both games all the way to 0:00 - God bless you. Tough SOB’s. For me at least, I watch sports for entertainment and some vicarious excitement. I don't see them (again just speaking for myself) as a tests of dedication or toughness. Real life has plenty of those in ample supply.
