Time to look past the Arizona game to what lays ahead. We have Colorado at home, and then the Washington schools on the road. We need to win those 3 games, and I'm thinking that we should do so. That would put us at 3-1 in conference, 10-4 overall, and with some confidence and a new lease on life when the LA schools come to Corvallis the following week.
Winning those games will, however, be a whole bunch easier if Taylor is able to play. Anybody heard anything on that?

I try not to look beyond the next game. Especially against an opponent like Colorado, JR has them playing really well. It is going to be tough game but one I think we can win. Having Taylor back would really help.

After losing twice to Washington St. last year, I'm not gonna take it for granted that's a W. The only one of the 3 that "should" be a fairly guaranteed thing is Washington. They played the LA schools fairly well on the road this weekend, UW led both games at halftime but ran out of gas. They aren't good, but maybe not exactly a pushover either? They also stayed close w/ Louisville earlier in the year.

The Beavs could win all those games. Do I think they will? No. I expect a loss to today to Colorado, and hope like crazy I'm wrong! I mentioned this in another thread, but I'm beginning to think the key to Beavs winning games this year is totally on strong D and rebounding. Unless someone turns it around and comes alive, the Beavs just don't have the scorers to win many scoring contest.

Today's game, I believe, is going to be more of a challenge that the UA game was. I'm hoping that Coach puts Taya on Hollingshed. She's very tough even with strong D in her face. If Tea's playing a solid game at point, I hope she stays there and doesn't sit out the fourth quarter like last Thursday.

We got out rebounded for the second game in a row, and second time this year (miss Taylor a bunch in that respect), but we eked out a tough one. Now for the Washington schools.

It is just a quirky place to travel and everyone who plays there usually struggles some win or lose.
