Yeah I watched Texas tech where Morris is at jumping up and down on the bench a cheer leader. Big kid way bigger then anyone around her. It seemed these leagues were for the most part full of wings like at Arkansas where Sasha plays. I think Morris was brought in at tech as a ht insurance policy. Just in case some bigs ever show up from the other teams. Pac 12 is now getting a lot of bigs . I also watched the Arkansas game vs. South Carolina girls. Sasha team are by and large wing players so they had Sasha guarding Boston at 6-5. I see Sasha did pretty well and her shot got cold this game. They use her a lot for defending bigger kids. She seems like a better over all of layer under Ruecks system because there offense lends itself to one in one type of players. I hope she’s happy.

I like to keep up with former OSU players just to see how they do in other programs vs how they did here. Savannah, Sasha, Destiny, and Morris seem to me to have gotten no better or in fact worse then they did at OSU. While at Oregon Mikesell, and Shelley have done far better at their new schools and Chavez is about the same. It's just interesting to see comparatively what the program does for their players. Going from a starter at OSU to a bench warmer, 10th most minutes at Georgia Tech, is one of the most extreme examples, Bre Brown. I hope she has been able to use her MBA.

Goforth had a rough game today vs. South Carolina (although nothing nearly as rough as Wolfenbarger). Goforth in general is shooting the deep ball at a much lower shooting % than at OSU (same with FT%). She's otherwise a pretty similar player to last year. I'm curious enough to follow here a bit to see if her game really does excel in a different offensive style. It really hasn't so far, which I am surprised to see - I thought a free-flowing offense would suit here better. Ark in general is not playing to it's talent level IMO (true for OSU as well).
When I watched HS clips of Savannah, she looked like a decently skilled player that just wasn't very aggressive in looking for opportunities. I was skeptical that she was a good fit, but assumed the coaches saw significant potential. So far now, two coaching staffs haven't been able to find ways to elevate her game. At this point, I'm happy it's not the OSU coaches' problem anymore.

Funny... bashing parent has zero to do with a player? Really...
And, of course all those former players were lauded as recruits and players here. Highly rated by recruiting services, yet now overrated because of teammates.
And, there's really no need for such a thread unless it's to simply update or praise a former player. But of course that's not today's culture I guess.

Her numbers: Started 10 of 13 games but only 10.5 mins/game, 3.0 pts, 2.6 rebs, 6 blocks, 15 TO’s.

Well, at least she is close to home so mom has to spend less money to fuel her helicopter. As Larry the Cable Guy would say, "that's funny right there. You don't think that's funny? You just get the hell out!"
