I may or may not still have a piece of that goalpost. Is the statute of limitations up? Is there a statute of limitations on possession of known "stolen" property? Maybe it depends if felonies were involved? Let's say a mob of people broke into a museum and one ended up with a "priceless" piece of art, or say an original copy of the US Declaration of Independence, and was found to have had it 35 years later. Seems to me there might be some legal peril there. I kind of doubt anything might happen in regards to legal peril if they ended up with the doorknob of the bathroom instead of something deemed important. You should ask the guy trapped in the bathroom for 35 years if the doorknob should be deemed important.

I mean, 1989 was the zenith of the streak era until CW 1998. As a frosh who rushed the field and helped take down the goal posts after the UCLA game gave us our first 3-win Pac-10 season in forever, and a winning record after 8 games, we thought we might actually have a chance to be a mediocre football team. I may or may not still have a piece of that goalpost. Is the statute of limitations up? I do know someone who got one of the flags from the top of the goal post. I know he held onto it for at least the remainder of the school year, but not sure if he kept it after that.

Probably not.

Thank you for your input, Sigmund Freud. Now, tell us more about skull caps, and what makes Craig Robinson such a visionary head coach. Ha... no matter what others may post I'm sure you can find a website to accentuate or debate depending on what fits your thinking. Then do your typical ncut/paste/paraphrase for another few pages. ncut? I typically don't cut and paste, unless I am taking from an earlier post on here or elsewhere that I wrote. Much like Ben Franklin, I freely plagiarize myself.

I haven't seen this article before your post lebaneaver, but the article was so good, you could post it 10 times & it wouldn't get old. Eggers is such a high quality writer, as a voracious reader I appreciate his attention to detail and the amount of information he provides in his stories. This article didn't disappoint, Eggers is simply "one of the best, better than all the rest." I recommend all Beaver fans read this article on Mike Hass, it also has plenty of quotes from Dennis Erickson & Mike Riley. Which should jog some good memories of past accomplishments of all three Beaver Greats. "All in all a very fun read." Thank You

Robb Thomas once almost beat Gustavo Envela Mahua (Gus Envela, Jr.) in the 100m, and Envela went on to race at four separate Olympics. I do not know. Maybe I am missing something. But in my mind, Mike Hass was great. But Robb Thomas was greater. I'm not sure an "almost beat" is the argument you think it is. Yeah. My "fastest" 100m time is around 16 seconds. Gus would have only beat me by about 6 seconds or so. Big deal.
