It is great to see that they kept the old names.

I briefly caught a glimpse of the USFL logo twice on commercials of NFL games the last couple of weeks, but had no idea what for.
I attended one Breakers game at Civic Stadium in 1985.
I still have a Portland Breakers T-shirt in a box in my closet. Maybe I'll be able to use it again someday. lol

I think Marcus DuPree was playing that day before he ripped up his knee. He was supposed to be the next Herschel Walker.

Is trump still the owner? Is he financing this with his $1 settlement from the NFL? Wasn't it trebled to $3?

He played his first year in New Orleans. In his second year, he ripped up his knee in the season opener at Tempe and was lost for the season. There was no 1986 season. He came back, though, and played for the Rams for two years in the early 1990s. DuPree was all potential. He could have been great, but he was not a very well-rounded back and did not work that hard.

I remember watching a doc about Dupree. Just a natural with an unfortunate lazy streak, probably due to the relative EASE with which he domininated in his youth, and through college.

Michael Corleone asks, incredulously, "we goin' to Jersey?" Aka Dee. That poor woman, she probably just wants to spend her twilight years with her husband. Or... he's been home too much, for too long?? Retirement can drive either or both partners crazy!
