That's a bit like the flack/crap spread around here when it was announced that Vidlak was transferring. The Vidlak stuff was a joke. I think you missed it. It started as a joke. but then, others piled on. I thought it interesting that Savannah caught s&&t for transferring, but not Sasha. If they are good, they get a pass for transferring. If not, because they are looking for more PT, they catch crap.

Good for her. Skilled player. SEC is overrated. Wish she would have stuck it out at OSU. Yep. Good for her. Gets to play in her home town, in an arena within walking distance from her family home. Fayetteville ends up being the best fit for a Fayetteville girl. Who woulda thunk it? OK, sure. Completely understandable. I still think she would have really helped our team this year. I definitely would have rather she had stayed for at least one non-Covid season, but I have no idea what her reasons for leaving are. But, like many here, now that she's back in her home town I kind of don't really care what she does. No offense, and no hard feelings. Just, bye.

Sasha and 4 of her teammates fouled out last night giving Tennessee 36 free throws. They made 23 of them, beating Arkansas by 7 points.

Was Arkansas able to finish the game with 5 players on the floor? I seem to recall something that happened during an OSU game against Arizona? during the LaVonda years. Arizona (I'm assuming it was them) started the game with a short bench, only going 2 players deep, and early in the first OT their third player fouled out and it was 5-on-4. And despite this 4 minute Power Play, the game went into a second OT, and when it was all said and done, the Beavers won when it was 5-on-2.

I believe the rule is, if you foul out enough players that you don’t have 5 non-fouled out players, you can play a fouled out player but whenever that player fouls it’s a “T”. So the fouled side gets 2 shots and possession. That's not the rule. If they've fouled out, they're out of the game. You can still play with 2 players minimum. You get down to 1 and it's a forfeit. You need 2 to inbound the ball.

You need 2 to inbound the ball. Correct. It’s only in the NBA and WNBA where teams can continue to play 5 players even if less than 5 players remain who have not fouled-out. “In the NBA and WNBA, teams cannot be reduced below five players. A player foul penalty situation exists when only five eligible players remain. If there are only five players, a player who fouls out stays in the game. If another of the five players is ejected or injured, the last player to foul out rejoins the game. Under the player foul penalty rule, each situation results in a technical foul, with the non-offending team shooting one technical foul free throw. If that player commits another foul, the opponent will be awarded one additional free throw under the same situation in addition to any free throws awarded, including offensive fouls, which normally are not assessed free throws. Each such situation will be scored as a non-unsportsmanlike conduct technical foul. These technical fouls are not for unsportsmanlike conduct, so they do not result in ejections from the game.”
