So what happens if one or more of the 'final four' teams can't play? If one of the four can't play they forfeit and the other team advances. If both teams can't play then the winner of the the other game is declared National Champ. If three teams can't play the one who can is the National Champ. If all four can't play there will be no Champ. |

how pissed would you be if you were from NC State spent a ton of money and time...to get canceled on game day? San Diego is a nice place to visit. |

The Holiday Bowl is cancelled. It's too bad that the Holiday Bowl did not select Oregon State or Wazzu instead, amiright? Never choose a Chip Kelly-coached team for anything! I wonder, if NC State wants to still play a bowl game. If so, Wazzu may have jumped the gun in inviting Central Michigan to the Sun Bowl. I note that NC State got rona'ed out of the College World Series six months and two days ago and is now getting rona'ed out of the Holiday Bowl. It has been a tough couple of months for the Wolfpack sports-wise. |

how pissed would you be if you were from NC State spent a ton of money and time...to get canceled on game day? On the one hand, NC State was having its best season since 2002. To have no bowl game at the end of that, that is quite the kick to the groin. On the other hand, if you had told me what would have happened at the 2012 Alamo Bowl, I would have happily done pretty much anything other than go to watch Texas pick up the narrow win. |

In all seriousness, though, the Holiday Bowl and NC State are cheesed off about Chip Kelly and UCLA not being upfront with their issues and delaying informing everyone until the very last second. For the Holiday Bowl, you get what you get, when you choose a Chip Kelly team. They should have chosen Oregon State or Wazzu. |
