Promoted from the practice squad this week and finally got into a game, but had no receptions at New England. In other news, Jordan Poyer had two tackles--a third down stop and a touchdown-saving tackle--and a tackle for loss--two-yard loss on first down. Buffalo 33-New England 21. The Bills jumped the Pats, going from seventh to fourth in the AFC. New England fell from second to sixth. The Chiefs, having already clinched a playoff spot, beat the Steelers to remain atop the AFC. Mike Remmers is still out. He has been on the IR since Week 10, and it was just announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. The Titans beat the Niners to vacate the second-place spot that the Pats vacated in the AFC. Kyle Peko had two solo tackles. Brandin Cooks was not cleared off of the COVID-19 list before the game with the Chargers, but Houston still beat San Diego. Cincinnati also beat Baltimore. With the Chargers, Ravens and Steelers all losing, Jake Luton's Dolphins are a win away from taking over the seventh spot in the AFC. The Dolphins were 3-7 and on a two-game winning streak, when they signed Luton. With a win tomorrow against New Orleans, Miami would be on a seven-game winning streak. Nahshon Wright had two tackles in the Cowboys' 56-14 win over Washington. Dallas won the East and remained in second in the NFC with the win. Johnny Hekker punted for 53 yards with no return. Minnesota went four-and-out, which led to a field goal (Hekker held) and 10-0 Rams lead. Later, Hekker punted for 55 yards with no return down to the 12. The Vikings went three-and-out. The punt was returned for a 61-yard touchdown and 20-10 lead. The Rams won 30-23. With the win, the Rams are now in third place in the NFC, passing the Cardinals. Blake Brandel played for the Vikings. Sean Mannion was out with COVID-19. With the loss, Minnesota fell back from seventh to ninth. If the Dolphins beat the Saints tomorrow, the Vikings and Falcons would pass the Saints into eighth and ninth place. Josh Andrews plays for the Falcons but was inactive with Atlanta's 20-16 win over Detroit. Atlanta passed Washington with Dallas' win and is also set to pass New Orleans with a Miami win tomorrow. Steven Nelson had four tackles in the Eagles' 34-10 win over the Giants. Noah Togiai is on Philadelphia's Practice Squad. Isaac Seumalo was playing for the Eagles but injured his foot in week three against the Cowboys and is out for the year. Philadelphia jumped Minnesota into seventh. With a Saints' win over the Dolphins, the Eagles would also pass the Niners into sixth. (San Francisco beat Philadelphia, but the Eagles own a three-way tiebreaker with a the Niners and Saints.) Sean Harlow played in a 22-16 loss to Indianapolis. Arizona fell from fourth to fifth but clinched a playoff berth with losses by the Niners and Vikings. Six other ex-Beavers are on four other teams in the NFL but are all on teams that have been eliminated. No Beavers are in the AFC North or NFC South. Six NFL teams have clinched playoff berths: the Buccaneers, Cardinals, Chiefs, Cowboys, Packers and Rams. Of the 10 NFL teams with Beavers on the roster, it is possible for five to win divisions (three have clinched and another two are currently atop divisions). Another four may get in as wildcard entrants. One has clinched a spot between the Cardinals and Rams. The Eagles are currently in playoff position. The Dolphins will be in position with a win tomorrow and would help the Falcons on their path. The Vikings would have a great chance of making the playoffs with two wins. The Falcons probably need to pass the Niners and the Vikings in the standings and at least catch up to the Saints, in order to make the playoffs.

The Niners stayed in sixth, and the Eagles stayed in seventh. The Dolphins are quite the story. Last place in the AFC to seventh place from week 9 to week 16.

Nall's off the Bears' Covid list but Harlow is back on Arizona's. Togiai on Eagles' practice-squad Covid list. I had no idea Noah was in the NFL. Togiai seemed like he was doing well for the first eight weeks of the season last year for the Colts. (He played most of the Vikings game in week 2 and good parts of the Jets and Titans games.) Then, he injured his knee in the Titans game or in practice shortly thereafter and was on the IR for the rest of the year and the start of this year. The Colts tried to put him on the IR again this year, but the Eagles signed him away. Togiai was on the active roster for a week in October for the Eagles but did not see the field. He has been either hurt, on the practice squad or out in COVID protocols since.

Contrary to the article and as mentioned above, Artavis Pierce finished the season on the Browns, not the Bears. The Titans (Kyle Peko), Chiefs (Mike Remmers) and Bills (Jordan Poyer and Isaiah Hodgins) finished 1-2-3 in the AFC. The only AFC game that does not have an Beaver is the first one, the Raiders @ Bengals game. The Cowboys (Nahshon Wright), Rams (Johnny Hekker) and Cards (Sean Harlow) finished 3-4-5 in the NFC. The Cards and Rams unfortunately drew the Monday Night matchup, so the winner will get a short week before travelling to the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field. The Eagles (Noah Togiai) finished #7 in the NFC and will travel to Tampa. Each of the NFC games will feature at least one Beaver. The Titans and the Cards/Rams winner will play in the Divisional Round. Four additional teams with Beavers on them can join the pair with wins.

Only two Beavers left in the playoffs: Johnny Hekker for the Rams and Mike Remmers for the Chiefs. Remmers is trending right now, because he and Mahomes talked about the Minnesota Miracle within the past couple of weeks, and the game is being being compared to Sunday's Bills-Chiefs game. Remmers was one of the guards on the play. Remmers is still on the IR (same as he has been for the past 10 weeks), because of his back injury but can return, once he recovers.
