For those who are interested, even if you are buying your tickets direct, here is a seating map I marked up with the info from OSU. This is just based on the order form from OSU so may not be perfectly accurate. For instance, I don't think much of VIP section 246 is included in the OSU allotment but is says 245-246 on the order form, so that's what I marked. Please let me know if you see a mistake. p.s. There is an additional $6 fee per seat (no doubt a "convenience fee", as pioneered by Ticketmaster back in the day). Since I haven't ordered yet, I don't know if there are any other fees like for shipping (or if tickets are even printed and shipped).

Where are Beav fans staying down there? Any word on official team hotel yet? I know there are several hotels between LAX and Sofi. The LAX Hilton right on Century has a free LAX shuttle and and area shuttle they may extend to take guests to Sofi. You can fly in to several places, but that area saves you travel time and $$ of renting a car, driving in traffic, etc.

There's not much to do near SoFi, there a ton to do at the beach

Otherwise I'd never stay near LAX. Venice Beach is our preferred LA spot for OSU trips.

Plus many have great "views" while imbibing. Oh, and the beach view is good too!

Check out Scopa Italian Roots on Washington if you've never been. You can just sit at bar and fall in love a few dozen times over the course of two cocktails. Every time I go there my mind is blown. Food is good too!
