The weird thing is, we beat Cal and Colorado and lose to the ducks and they still win the north. We would both end up with 2 losses and they would win the head to head tie breaker. The power of head to head wins. Got to win north division road games to win the division, that is one lesson of this year.

Fix the road woes. Slow starts, losses to Cal and Colorado really hurt our overall season. Beat Cal and CO and we win the North with room to spare... JS and Co have done a great job turning the program around. Still work to be done. Supremely confident they will get it done. The Cal and Colorado losses still sting... But step one to be better is to improve the DL. that is the big on right now. We also graduate everybody off the OL, that is a concern next year.

We don't lose "everyone". I think 3 on the 2 deep finish their eligibility. Nous and Nathan are big losses and if Kipper decides to try going pro that'll take another starter. We still have a bunch that have played quite a bit.

Yeah losing the OL is gonna hurt the ability to run like we did this year.... Then again, if we can only run with a bunch of seniors on the line, then we can only count on being good once every four years or so. I say, recruit. Need to get the best players we can. Get them here, get them to buy in, get them on the field. O line. D line. Skill players. Bring them in.

2 graduate, unless Kipper graduates and decides to skip his extra year of eligibility. We're starting some underclassmen currently. Expect to lose 3-4 off the two deep depth chart.

The current DL has been owned by most opposing OL’s. Even taking a risk or two of A JC transfer may be needed.

Losing Eldridge will be maybe the biggest loss on the team, he is a stud. But we have LT Gray ( who could be great soon), Marco Brewer the Corvallis HS kid filled in when Levengood went out late in the season and played really well. Levengood will be back, he is solid and Fuaga the true freshman looks solid also (he played intermittently as a true freshman and did not redshirt). So LT Gray (soph) LG Levengood (Jr), Brewer ( Jr) and RT Fuaga (soph). To me me are 1 guy short but have lots of candidates. Biggest question for me is how good will Eldridges replacement be. If Rt Kipper comes back these are our top 5 in my opinion. Can Brewer play Center in that case? Coach M is very good at player development, great position coach

All 5 OL starters graduate? No, It was a hyperbole. We do lose our two best, Eldridge and Nous. I THINK we lose Kipper too? I might be wrong there. We lose solid "6th man" Sorensen, I think too. We return our full left side, which which is good.

Gray is a top 2 on the o-line with Eldridge. We have some nice pieces who have played late, and the transfer portal will be mined again. We have no idea if Bloomfield is a PAC-12 guy too, because he was hurt for a long while

I believe that Sorensen is a redshirt senior and cannot come back.

We have no idea if Bloomfield is a PAC-12 guy too, because he was hurt for a long while I really liked what I saw of Leavengood before he got hurt. I'm no OL expert and have no idea how to rank guys beyond not getting beat and not taking penalties, but it seemed to me like I saw Leavengood mauling guys at the 2nd and 3rd level on run plays quite a bit, and it also seemed like our running game slowed down a bit after he got hurt.

Fixing the defense is really the next step. 2 years ago Beavs were better on the road than at home. Defense has been awful since before the staff arrived. The talent is improving but still lacking. Need athletes on the DL that can put pressure on the QB.

I know that Niner and Coach Bray are already planning how to get the right players in the right places. Focus on the bowl game then go to work on the recruiting trail and transfer portal. An entire offseason with Coach Bray at the DC position will make a world of difference in my opinion. Yes, I am making assumptions that Niner will hire Bray for the DC position. Why wouldn't he? Already familiar with the players and the head coach and still a great recruiter.
