He named the Beavers in his top 5 along with Auburn, Texas, Texas Tech and Washington State. He’s from Portland, but the 6-4 shooting guard is playing his senior year at Compass Prep in Arizona. Has a composite #170 ranking, but 24/7 has him at #124. Needless to say would be a great get to keep this kid at home.

It could be said that WT hasn’t EXACTLY parlayed our Elite 8 success into recruiting success….. but I’m not going to say it. 😇

It could be said that WT hasn’t EXACTLY parlayed our Elite 8 success into recruiting success….. but I’m not going to say it. 😇 It's only going to get worse. These kids are going to be able to make big bucks signing with large market colleges. |

If you're LW and viewing this current trainwreck are you seriously considering OSU over multiple other offers. Most kids with his talent don't see OSU as immediate playing time. Their confidence level is such they think they will see the floor almost anywhere. Don't know much about him, but I don't think OSU is his best offer and home state didn't affect his going out of state to finish HS?! Wish I could be confident in his landing at OSU. |

I know nothing about his recruitment/interest, but wouldn’t read much into the fact he’s currently playing at AZ Compass Prep. He’s just looking to face best competition he can and develop for the future. That said I think it is likely he heads elsewhere. Just noticed Texas Tech got a crystal ball for him on 24/7 in last few days. But who knows how accurate that may be. |

He WON’T love Texas Tech,
His next step will be the transfer portal to get to a school that is ANYWHERE but in the South ! He will not come back to the State of Oregon though !
Wish him success wherever he ends up !
