It amazes me how guys who can clearly play in pro leagues are overlooked for so long. Politics I suppose, or they just didn't have an advocate in management. Jamie Burke and Kevin Gregg fall into this category as well.

GP2 is really coming into his own. 19 points in 26 mins on 7-9 shooting and 3-5 from 3 pointers. They let him play his full court harassing defense on NBA pgs, and it results in the opposition’s offense having possessions where the pg never touches the ball. Even when he gets beat he can recover at this level - Chris Paul gets way past him at then gets to the rim and GP still contests and forces a jump ball, which he wins easily. At another point he gets switched onto Ayton, and the Suns players were so worried about GPII hawking the pass they don’t even get him the ball in an obvious post mismatch. At another point he picks off a Chris Paul pass and the crowd rises automatically for the pending dunk show.
He is one of the most fun player to watch in the game IMO - always causing problems on both ends of the floor. He’s gelled so well with the Warrior’s 2nd team players that they are often the minutes that create the scoring delta.

GPII started last night and had 22 points while making 4 threes. He also largely was assigned to defending Morant, keeping him in check and even out scoring him. Huge night for Curry, but they don’t win without GPII last night, might not have even been close.

GPII was phenomenal last night. He really has been working oh his shot. He didn't think twice when he had a shot. Outstanding. He came through for the guys that weren't playing (Poole, Wiggins, etc). He stepped up as usual. Kerr has been noted that he wants more minutes for GPII. Gonna be hard when everyone is healthy and back. But, he will definitely get minutes. He's a steal. In his limited minutes playing, he produces........a lot.
Good for GPII! Good for proud papa, GP. Good for the Beavs! Go Beavs!

GPIi had 11 pts and 11 rebs last night in 24 minutes. Was perfect from the field. With Klay coming back, we’ll see how many minutes he gets going forward.

The NBA's minimum salary is almost $900,000. If he can just make it through and entire season or two he could be set up for a nice future (If he isn't already, as the son of a multi-millionaire).
