Seems the Beavers have quite a bit of interest in Ava. All the assistants follow her on Instagram. She much know Donovyn and Kennedie as well. OSU has been interested in her for a little while now. It’s been a little while since she’s played due to an ACL tear. She’ll be playing for the Cal Stars this year. I assume she’ll be hard to pull away from the California schools (USC, UCLA, Stanford).

Jazzy Davidson says she has narrowed her schools to help with the level of attention she’s getting. She is currently considering USC, UCLA, Stanford, Duke, South Carolina, LSU, TCU and Texas.

Sad that Oregon State is no longer consideration for elite players....how Women's basketball has changed with the portal, collapse of the Pac-12 and the growth of the SEC and other conferences.

Sad that Oregon State is no longer consideration for elite players....how Women's basketball has changed with the portal, collapse of the Pac-12 and the growth of the SEC and other conferences. Well, TVO did post "oof" after the news of OSU basketball playing in the WCC came out. While I'm not 100 percent sure that it was what her post was about, there wasn't an explanation one way or another. I think if OSU does not find its way into some sort of "power conference" situation, women's basketball could be the hardest hit among the non-football programs over time as far as not recruiting at the same level as judged by the recruiting "experts." Now before this goes into some big argument, I'm not saying the program won't win, etc. But again, Rueck has had success with elite recruits on a consistent basis. He has four on the current team (Beers, TVO, Gardiner and Hunter -- yes, she was in the ESPN 100 and a four star) and he's had them throughout the past decade-plus. Nearly every one of the star players Rueck has been at least a 4-star. The only exceptions have been foreign players.

Oregon st can recruit with the best if they are in a power 5 conference. So someone garenteed they wont be in the mix in the near future. Thing that bothers me is lots of schools have teams competing in various level so why cant the beavers in baseball and girls basketball be pwer five thats where they belong.

With the national interest in the Beavs these days, maybe some of the recruits that have offers will start sharing what they think about the program.
Does anyone know of some update for the 2025 class prospects?
Seems the team is most in need of post players, lots of guards on this team.
GO BEAVS!

Still time for change mind as Beavers ladies are doing well this season. We’re really not going to get any consideration from the top players while we’re in the WCC. Of course not making the tournament the past two years doesn’t help, but so far these players haven’t had OSU in their top 8-10.

The current slack in recruiting I'd lay at the fired head of recruiting and the drop in wins.
But in the future will being in the WCC severely hamper recruiting after making waves in this tournament (no, I'm not being optimistic. Just the facts and nothing but the facts)?
It doesn't seem to hamper teams on the men's side so I don't see why it would on the women's side. But I seem to recall being wrong once before.

The WBB Blog lists Taissa Queiroz and Aubrey Shaw as having offers from the Beav's. Anyone know anything about them?
