You can tell he's forcing a smile with that ugly shirt, and hat.

Good for him. D1 jobs are at a premium.

Hmm, get some experience and maybe be our future softball coach.

Interesting that he's coaching softball. Good for him, though!

I didnt notice it was softball......seems pretty odd. Does this sort of crossover happen that often?

Personally , I see a lot of men coaching women’s softball, and I think it’s a good move ( always), to bring in new thinking and attitudes . Hitting and fielding can certainly benefit, but, I wonder about slap hitting and the differences in ball movement ( rise ball vs dropping action in baseball ). Base running ( stealing in softball ), seems to be an opportunity for some teams with quickness, but, inability to get a lead creates some timing / success issues . Go Beavers, huck the fuskies !

As the father of a softballer, I think this is awesome. If he can stand the non-stop chanting and high pitched cheering, more power to him.

I don't know that this ends well. I can see him being a fabulous recruiter but his off the chart intensity may not play well in the dugout. His best chance is to lay off the red bull. Best wishes to him.

Nobach was a scrappy intense baseball player, which made me a fan of his.
There wasn't a happier Beaver holding that 2018 CWS Trophy.
Plus I loved that "3 run jack," that crushed any hope of Washington beating us in our 2nd game in 2018. Nobach in the 7th inning made a 6-5 game 9-5. We tacked some more runs on and sent Meggs back to Seattle 0-2.(14-5 win IIRC)
