Can't remember the man's name, but we had a tight end that decided to walk onto the basketball team early 2000's, may have been during the McKay era.

He didnt stay with the BB team that long.

Let's also remember Harry Gunner and Scott Eaton.

He didnt stay with the BB team that long. He played 1 full year. Togiai also played one year and Jim Hanchett walked on to the football team after playing basketball.

Eyes rolling.
Dude has a high center of gravity with super slow feet. I hope they start him against us.

Wow. 3 schools and 2 sports in what, 4 years? Lonnie Shelton would have made a hell of a tight end. He would have made a hell of an anything on the football field. Was 6-8 253 his last year at osu...was recruited by everyone for football. 60' shot put guy at osu. Top 3 athlete all time at osu along with Terry Baker and Jess Lewis.

Lonnie Shelton? Still remember when he flew down the court and dunked the ball (when it wasn't allowed). He drew a T, fans went nuts, plus the game was already decided anyway (in our favor). Great moment!
I think it was against the Ducks, and I think I have most of the story right - after all, it was a long time ago!
