Enough debates. Go out and get it already. It protects you, your family, and everyone in the community. It’s been scientifically, mathematically, and statistically proven to make everyone safer. The communities that got them are overwhelmingly safer. The chances of side effects or accidents are so unbelievably small that it’s completely absurd to not get one. Quit being selfish, quit arguing on Facebook, and go purchase a firearm!

On a positive note, Deschutes was down to 6th among Oregon counties in positive tests yesterday. Of course, outrageous numbers all over the state tend to diminish the drop in ranking.

Went out last night to see some live jazz at a club in NE Portland. The venue required proof of vaccine to be seated. The place was full (of verified vaccinated music aficionados). Nobody appeared to make a scene due to being turned away for lack of proof.

Got mine...BUT..It's still NOT AN APPROVED vaccine! Just 'Authorized for emergency use'. so maybe when it all plays out those of us with the jab are gonners... Science is not defined in 12 or 24 months is it? Neither is politics. I have to laugh (or I'd cry) - the Governor of Florida is bringing in an expensive and only approved for emergency use antibody treatment that takes an already overworked doc or a nurse over an hour to administer to someone already sick. Approved for emergency use and its palliative and can't help the already really sick people. Meanwhile the free vaccine is working out really well for almost everyone who has received it. |

I have a 9mm and a little EZ .380. I BELIEVE in being prepared for any scenario. Hope I NEVER have to use either in defense. We also got the vaccine in March, and later in April. We wear masks NOT to protect ourselves, but our loved ones, and others. Pretty simple, really.
