Things must be slow at BA headquarters back in Durham, N.C. following the draft. It seems their draft experts have all the Tarot Cards out, the Chrystal Ball polished up, and the reading of the tea leaves has begun. Not sure about the Ouiji Board or the Dart Board being out this early.
Anyway, here are the PAC-12 draft picks included in their TOP-50 Prospect listing.
No. 13 Drew Bowser IF Stanford No. 20 T.J. Nichols P Arizona No. 29 Tommy Troy IF Stanford No. 33 Chase Davis OF Arizona No. 38 Hunter Haas IF Arizona State No. 50 Anthony Susac P Arizona
OSU players that could break into the Top-50: Bazzana, Kmatz, Reed, and Guerra.

I was going to ask the same thing. All 4 of those are "old" incoming freshman?

Just me opin'ing - I wouldn't count on any of the four I mentioned playing a 4th year at OSU. I'll tell you why, with the exception of Travis B. all 3 were prominately mentioned as potential high school draftees earlier this month. That being said, they will be even more attractive after 3 years of seasoning in this elite college program.
The only reason Travis wasn't mentioned is they didn't know who he was - he's our best kept secret.
For sure, they know who he is now.

Chin, if they play 3 years, that's the 2024 draft, right? 2023 would mean 2 and gone, which means older draft eligible sophs (like Daniel Susac is next year)

The guys you all mentioned aren’t eligible for that draft so they won’t be making it an appearance on said list.

Help me with the math you are using for making these predictions.
MLB draft in July of 2022, those four Beavers will have just completed their freshman year. MLB draft in July of 2023, those Beavers will have just completed their sophomore year.
Are they all "aged" into the 2023 draft after their sophomore year?

LOL, I have to quit trying to make any sense after 9 o'clock. I'm way off - my four are 2024 draft prospects, not 2023. BA is off base, and that threw me. Anthony Susac is an incoming freshman at UA and therefore a 2024 draft guy, not a 2023. I saw him and immediately lined up our 4 incoming freshman.
Our 2023 draft candidates might be "the Donkey", maybe Kasper or any of the young pitchers - Hunter, Lawson, or Thorsteinson.
Sorry, the draft is complicated enough without me screwing you up with bad numbers.

You're mostly correct in your corrective post. However Anthony Susac is going to be draft eligible for 2023 draft due to his age. Similar to what we had this year with Will Frisch. He is going to be an old freshman this year having turned 19 before starting college.

I can state with certainty that Bazzana and Reed will NOT be draft eligible under after their junior season. I haven't seen birthdates for the others.
