Anyone know where Jelena is? When she is expected in Corvallis?
Someone mentioned earlier that she might be playing ball in Europe this summer, but he was unsure....
At any rate, as I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I have been watching lot of her film in the last 8 games of the year, and I am becoming a believer in her game. I think her ceiling is rising, and that she might be on the cusp of making much more important contributions to the 21/22 season than she did in the 20/21 season. GO BEAVS!!

I think I may have missed your earlier post regarding Jelena, but I agree with your assessment. I'm not sure how ready she will be for 21/22, but you can see that she has a real shot at being a strong contributor in future years. I've watched both wins over the ducks, the UCLA game, and a couple more games over and over again. A couple nice things I saw down the stretch: Ellie played much more comfortably and looked like she could really come out strong this coming season, and Jelena and Ellie seem to have some chemistry when on the floor. The passing between those two was very good. Jelena already has a lot of the right moves. For her, I think it comes down to perfecting those moves and playing more against the strong and fast Pac12 players. Practice against Kennedy and Taylor should really help. Jelena could actually be at Oregon State for 6 total years. I'm a bit doubtful she stays that long, but if she did, I think year 5 and 6 would be special. I guess we'll find out.

Very short clips here, but I like what I see from Tea. Her experience should really help the young backcourt this season.

Sometimes when I see "Tea" it brings to mind the other OSU hoops legend whose three-letter first name starts with a "Te" and ends with a vowel. Tea Teo Legend might be a bit hyperbolic for Mr. Alebegovic.

Based on that video ... GK looks really good. She looks extremely focused and is putting in a lot of effort, and I'll forgive her for not effectively guarding Talia's jumper. At 6'0 she has a good shot at starting. I'd thought maybe Codding or Adams, due to their experience, might start early in the season but looking at Codding's huge leg brace and Tea's lack of height and physicality compared to GK, I think GK will be the superior player by November. Also looks to me like Talia has lost a bit of weight, which could improve her quickness, but I could be imagining that. We really need her to become our go-to player now that Aleah is gone and take the team on her shoulders in crunch time, even though she's just a frosh.

Wait until the Freshman 15 hits the new ballers . Maybe the Conditioning / Strength coach can fix that !

Greta just looks like she belongs, just can't see her being on kept on the bench. TVO's hard cross-over step-back isn't going to be defended by the whole league, so hard to fault here there.
Tea makes you realize the size of this team. At 5'9", she's going to need all of her athleticism in the Pac. I really like having a player of her game style on the team though, we don't usually have guards more interested in challenging inside rather than out. I suspect our bigs are going to benefit when she's on the floor.
4 redshirt seniors on this roster, but it's Taya the looks to have the 'my year, my team' aura (I know, that's a real stretch from a short video)
Don't like all the cupping marks on Taylor's shoulders; I hope she is pain free by the season. Also didn't notice KB in any of the live action, wonder if she's actually mixing it up yet.
