Saw on another site he had transferred/will transfer to the Beavs. Any insights on this player? Looks like a huge young RHP at 6’11”.

Only pitched 1 appearance in 2020 and then none in 2021...must have been injured?
Was #135 recruit on Perfect Game in 2019...#47 RHP. The write-up from PG then:
Hunter Cope is a 2019 RHP with a 6-11 240 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Uniquely tall build with good proportions and some present strength, has grown significantly over the last year but has retained his athletic coordination very well. Well paced leg raise delivery, has good rhythm and keeps his mechanics simple, high 3/4's arm slot with extreme extension and angle at release, will occasionally run off the mound to the first base side creating directional issues but adjusts well. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, maintains his velocity well, mostly straight, velocity plays up. Curveball has tight spin and good depth with some power behind it. Has a feel for his change up and really extends out with it. Throws strikes and challenges hitters. Very interesting prospect for many reasons. Good student.

He is playing for the Medford Rogues, which is interesting. Beaver heavy coaching staff and Hunter Cope's a SoCal guy, seems like he would have found something closer to home, unless this is his new home?
He fits the Rich Dorman prospect profile. Throws gas already and looks like that could improve down the road. Solid breaking ball, lots of downward action. Looks like he could use some improved command.

Rogues stats - 9K in just 3IP, we'll take that! 4 BB though...does sound like a Dorman guy, 1 for 1 hitting too with a double
