The following info was released about one month ago, but I have not seen it posted....I've provided a link because the article also includes interesting info on the 21/22 WBB schedule...Which gave the Beavs a break as far as the USC-UCLA round trip is concerned. GO BEAVS!! ------------------ PAC 12 WBB ACHIEVEMENTS: Since 2016, the Pac-12 leads all conferences in Final Four appearances (6), NCAA Tournament wins (70), NCAA Tournament winning percentage (.707) and WBCA All-Americans (13). In the first year using the NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) for women’s basketball, four of the top 10 teams in the final NET rankings for 2021 were from the Pac-12 in national champion STANFORD (No. 1), national runner-up ARIZONA (No. 7), UCLA (No. 8) and OREGON (No. 10). The Pac-12 was also the nation’s top-rated conference by RPI in three of the final five seasons (2016, 2017, 2020) that metric was used by the Division I Women’s Basketball Committee. pac-12.com/article/2021/06/14/pac-12-womens-basketball-scheduling-changes-approved-conference-council

Hey, everybody knows the SEC is the best conference for women's basketball. Just look at the preseason polls every year for proof. Never mind what happens at the end of the season, that stuff isn't important.
In all seriousness, great find, thanks for posting. People who actually pay attention know that the Pac 12 has been collectively great in recent years.

By the same token, our 2 wins against uo and our W against ( #8 Massey) UCLA certainly pulled up our ranking after early defeats by lower ranked Utah and WSU. Not a big deal, just amusing.

Looking ahead, there's no such thing as an easy road schedule in this conference, but ours is pretty favorable as these things go. (Unfortunately, so is Oregon's.) I can easily see us 6-3 or 7-2 on the road; 13-5 or 14-4 overall in conference. Should have 25 or more wins total heading into the NCAA tournament. and be playing at home the first 2 games.
Incidentally, the correct number of tournament wins since 2016 is 69, not 70. The article is wrong. Eight different conference teams posted wins during that stretch, with Oregon State, UCLA, and Stanford being the only teams to win at least one each year.

greybeav - thanks for posting this article. A good find.
This article has as much solid basketball information as we usually find in 3 or 4 newspaper articles. The overview summaries of Oregon and Colorado both contain very good roster information for those of us who like to keep track of other teams in the Pac.... The article makes crystal clear what we already know - - the Pac-12 is loaded with player talent, and every year more of it is recruited or transfers in thru the portal.....
Reading about the other teams makes clear how important it is that this year's Beavs locate at least one top notch guard to help out Talia......I really don't know who it will be, but I am starting to hope (emphasize "hope") that Greta turns out to be one of those far-better-than-expected players....Like Talia was last January...
Thanks again, greybeav....Glad you track down these interesting tidbits for the basketball hungry.🏀 Go Beavs!!

greybeav, thanks for posting. I enjoyed the read. I didn't know that Sasha was our point guard last season. I thought we had a couple players named Goodman and Von Oelhoffen that played point. Shows you what I know. I was happy to hear that we will jump UCLA, Oregon, and Arizona, and challenge Stanford for the title this season. I would love for that part to come true!! I have to say, barring injury, the Beavs should be very deep this season. It will be interesting to see how playing time works out for everyone.

greybeav, thank you very much for sharing. No mention of Mitrovic, who could be an impact player by the end of next season! It is our guard play that will be our largest question going into the start of the season. I was happy to hear Jenny Huth's interview and learn that AJ could be a lock-down defensive guard. We won't just miss Aleah's offense, but Aleah elevated her defense every year, and was solid defensive guard by the time she left.

The article also makes it seem like Aquino could be playing this season, which we all know is (unfortunately) highly unlikely until we hear otherwise.

I really admire Aquino for sticking out and finding her own way to contribute to the team. She is a huge cheerleader on the bench. She is upbeat and really enjoys herself in the drills that she is allowed to participate in. If she can't participate in the drill she does what she can to help out. I'm good with her having a scholarship, actually I think Mannen should be on one if she isn't.

That's the first I've heard of Keeli Burton-Oliver transferring to WSU. She was highly regarded coming out of HS, I don't think she ever played at ASU.
Jade Loville to ASU is a head scratcher to me. Certainly not a place where scorers choose to go usually.
