Chase Watkins is officially a Cub, according to Major League Baseball, officially signing on Friday. The Cubs have signed 9 of their top 10 draft picks. The only player that remains to be signed is James Triantos, the second round pick, a high schooler from Florida. Watkins was the first of the four Beaver draft picks to sign. Every indication that I have seen is that they will all sign. |
