I think you missed Barnes, Aguilar, Florentine and Eveland Yep I sure did - good catch. was just going thru the wrestlestat roster page. So yeah 42. That's a big number! Sounds like more attrition coming that we're not aware of yet. |

I wonder if they will have everyone come in for the first few weeks and do a wrestle off of sorts for roster spots. I wonder also if some new guys coming in who are walk ons have been told that. Just thoughts. |

Yes - he placed 3td at the CA state open tournament at 172. He has placed at most of the big tournaments. He has wrestled a lot despite CA being shut down.

I like the fact that the roster is being worked on this soon prior to the next season. A little detail, but important IMO. The last staff started this task in August or Sept. at the earliest.

Love the big social media presence too - not sure anyone on the last staff was aware of twitter. Our guys are also following a few recruits on twitter - Rowley of course, Nash Singleton. I would think it's a cool deal when a D1 coach "likes" one of your tweets. Curious how they'll approach camps now that things are hopefully back to normal... |

The coaches are doing camps - just not OSU sponsored camps per se. CP is coming to Idaho next week - unfortunately I will miss it. He is one of several coaches doing a couple sessions at a pretty big camp in our valley. I am not sure if they have contacted kids they are recruiting to be at the camp or not. There are 2-3 in our valley that I think could be possible targets - one for sure.

Coach IMAR mentioned on a zoom call a few weeks ago that camps on campus (aka OSU sponsored) are still up in the air. And if they do have them they will be commuter only, probably 3 days. Everything remains fluid with CV19 plannedemic and the transition out of it.
I am excited about our guys coming in. From top to bottom I think our guys are solid. There will be lots of good battles going on in that room. Add the 3 D1 transfers and even the 3 JUCO guys, our room got a lot tougher in just 1 recruiting cycle.

Yes - in 1 cycle we went from 2nd and 3rd tier recruits to being top 5 on the lists of top tier wrestlers. Pretty impressive.
Funny thing...I was out bow fishing the other night and saw a few beavers...."Hey little buddy...I got you" :-)
