I recognize that the coaching staff is a "team" in itself. I'm curious if they will have areas of expertise. It was my impression that Katie worked with the bigs and Jonas with the guards for example. With the new staff, what focus areas might the coaches have?
GO BEAVS!

Jennie worked with the guards while at UCLA. Deven was of course a rebounding forward so I’m thinking she’d focus on the bigs.

Let's start out by spelling Hunter's name correctly---DEVEN Let's not make Deven the 'new' KAY-DEN (Cadyn Grenier that is - who, btw is batting a rare leadoff tonight for AA Bowie, just in front of the 2-hole hitter Adley R....They're both playing well of late, but are a combined 0-5 tonight, so far)

This is a big recruiting month for the new staff. I'm pretty sure Jenny will be in Des Moines Iowa for the Battle of the Best tournament. I'm not sure how many of the staff will be there, but Oregon State is registered for this event, and Jenny liked a tweet regarding this tourney.
Those of you who don't follow social media, Jenny seems very happy in her early days at Oregon State. I'm thinking she wasn't loving her head coach position, but is happy to be a recruiting coordinator at a major school again. So far, I am really pleased with what I am seeing from her social media. She definitely has contacts so that is extremely helpful from a recruiting standpoint.

$17,500 as Grad assistant at San Diego to $92,000 assistant coach at OSU. Literally from famine to feast. Way to go Deven!

I thought I saw somewhere on this forum that Jenny and Deven were originally signed to 1 year coaching contracts. Any word on their contracts being extended? It’s seems that they both have made some good progress on the recruiting trail. I’m hoping their efforts will result in some high level recruits coming to Corvallis. Go beavs!!

Speaking of assistant coaches, I found it interesting that Eric Ely is leaving Texas Tech. This video is a great tribute to him. Something I would like to see more for coaches that leave a mark on the program they were working at.

From my experiences with him and from people who know him personally, one of the truly good people in life.
