One of the things that WT noted is that the team really 'bought in' after they struggled...Let's hope that buy in can continue with all the new guys Has to be the most athletic team in decades.. Let's see if they can play as a team, hope is high I think..

Tinkle is killing it recruiting wise.it will be hard to replace ET but there's some really nice back court players to choose from. I think the beaver will be in the mix by end of season. Early could be tough until they sync

Early could be tough until they sync Hey that's why we schedule those non-conf games against Wyoming and Portland! I'm excited for next season. Been a while since I've felt that way in the month of May.

Actually, thinking about ‘syncing’, Part of that problem is solved ( to a smaller extent ), with returnee’s and the ways they can contribute - SILVA ALATISHE REICHLE ? LUCAS CALLOO HUNT ANDELA Another aspect to consider is these guys playing such great ball at the end of the season (PAC 12 & Tourney ). The guys we lose, did not really log many minutes .
We are going to be getting more size and athleticism ( let’s just say it’s the same )... guards, forwards, center !
Lastly, I believe that the combination of the team development, as well as the recruiting and the ‘growth’ of the coaching staff and their newfound approach to game planning, based on each opponent, will pay early and late dividends next year Then, fans moving back to Gill - creating a home court advantage, and additional momentum - will make Gill a tough venue for opponents ! The SPARK has been lit and now it’s time to ‘fan’ the flames ! Go Beavers !

If healthy,I can see us doing a full court press with Hunt,Williams,Alitisha,Rand and Choi. Incredible length and quickness. So much versatility with this upcoming roster..

To tell you the truth I don't want to hear any excuses on the number of new players and it will take awhile to jell, etc...

To tell you the truth I don't want to hear any excuses on the number of new players and it will take awhile to jell, etc... I mean that's exactly what happened this year and they made an elite 8 run... I think I'm willing to give Tinkle and co. the benefit of the doubt at this point. Adjusting to life without ET may be a little more difficult than we want to admit. It is nice however that we got some glimpses of that this year, and in particular the Okie State game in the 2nd round when he was in foul trouble. Guys stepped up and held the lead we had built, even though we needed him to come in to fully put the game away.

I love the length we have added. Rand is as explosive of a forward as we have seen at osu. Not a complete player but a rim protector and rebounder. Williams has played two full seasons in the Big 10. Davis is a juco first team all-American. Choi is 7-2 and sooo long. Malone- Key averaged double figures last year. Taylor is a long 4* athlete. More talent 1-12 than I have ever seen...

Definitely like the length and athleticism added on the defensive end. That should keep us in games. Just a little concerned about replacing ET's 16 pts/game. Hoping Davis & Williams can cover that. I'm also hoping Johnson takes a leap to get some time at the 3. He looked like a very good athlete in the time he was on the floor. Just needs to refine his game a little bit.

If the media or the coaches predict us to finish 12th in the Pac, that will be all I need to see to know we will be tourney bound again.

I like the new additions and the emphasis on athleticism and length —leaving me looking forward to next year But I really have no idea how good the team will be. Ethan’s offense and leadership will be difficult to replace. And while the postseason run was great, we are still talking about a team that before going on a 6-game winning streak was only 14-12 and .500 in conference. Let’s just hope the coming together as a team that we saw postseason continues into the 2021-22 season.
