Many players have had injury plagued senior seasons, but were still highly coveted based on prior performance. I am betting that several teams had Hamilcar come in for physicals. He had a really good pro day too, and so my own thought is that there were still enough medical concerns to make teams wary. Go show them just how wrong they were, Hamilcar, Beaver Nation is rooting hard for you! He’s got some other issues as a projected player in the NFL. He’s too small to be a DE and not fast enough to be an LB. He needs to find a place that can define a role for him. Not fast enough for an LB? He literally posted the fasted OLB time this year, and of all 48 LBs at the virtual combines this year, he was tied for the 5th fastest 40... Nah, it has to be injury concern... There is something out there we don't know about.

Then it’s got to be injuries concerns or concerns that at LB he doesn’t have the experience in pass coverage since we used him solely as an edge rusher.

If any of the RBs that got picked before Jemar played for the Beavs, we would have thought they were great too. He's good enough to get drafted, that says a lot, more than a few low round and updraft FA RBs have made a dent in the league. Atown is right, the best opportunity for him to make his presence felt in the NFL just might be as a 7th round pick for the Lions.

The thing with RBs too is it's a total crapshoot unless there's a clear and obvious talent such as CMC, Zeke, Saquon, SJ39, etc. I think we can all agree that Jermar is none of them. There are however, plenty of great late round running backs, and many late round guys who fill rotations for a long time. Bo Jackson was a 7th round pick, Terrell Davis was a 6th round pick, and a more recent example, Raheem Mostert was an undrafted FA. He'll get his shot for sure.

Bo Jackson was the first overall pick in the 1986 draft. He refused to play for the Buccaneers and chose to play baseball for the Royals. He was only a 7th round pick by the Raiders in 1987 (after Tampa Bay's draft rights expired) because most people thought he would stick with baseball

I wish he would have stuck with baseball.....
