You will like AJ. My guess is that she’s the fourth guard and gets 12 minutes/game off the bench.

Don't misunderstand me, I agree that AJ will be the 4th guard, and she may get 12 minutes per game, but there aren't many minutes to go around if everyone stays healthy. I would expect Talia to get around 30 minutes, and if Tea and Greta each got only 20 minutes at guard, that leaves less than 10 for anybody else at guard. Adding Emily only means less minutes for one of the guards at the 3 spot. We'll see though, everybody will get their shot, and I hope A.J. shines. A.J. being experienced and ready for 2022 will really help what could be a speical season for the Beavs.

That's quite the leg brace, anyone remember when her injury occured? Not sure the date, but it was 19 games into the 19-20 season, probably Feb 2020.

Thanks beaverstever, I finally made the effort and found this : AS A SENIOR (2020-21): Appeared in five games during her senior season after recovering from a knee injury and then fighting through a foot injury...made two starts on the year and averaged 19 minutes per game...scored 9.2 points per game during her limited action, while also bringing in 6.8 rebounds per game...set a season-best in points with 13 in the Gaels upset win over Pacific in the WCC Tournament on March 5. So she played at the end of this last season, but still needs the brace, here' hoping (for her sake) she continues to mend and can back off to a sleeve only !

Since she played a little last season, let's hope she is good to go this fall. That is quite the leg brace.

I have a very similar brace. It is used to take the pressure off of a knee that is low on cartilage, or in my case has no cartilage. If I recall it is called an unloader brace.
