Not sure what to think about it but I do find it interesting. I'd like to see what a healthy Subasic can do with an extra year. She may be able to provide depth.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm pleased to see Subasic come back. We all wish Aquino could just get a chance to use her gifts, but I'm really surprised to see she's still listed.

osubeavers.com/sports/womens-basketball/rosterI find it interesting that they classify everyone according to their eligibility rather than their true class, for example putting Taylor as a sophomore. Loking at this list, it would be nice to add another couple players for depth purposes. Subasic can definitely help, but I'm not sure where she would find minutes unless there was an injury, which we hope doesn't happen.

They have always been listed as their eligibility, redshirt or not. The difference is that last year didn't count, you have now entered into the twilight zone. Tell Stanford that last year didn't count.
And yes, I would also like to see another player or two but they would need be able to fit in.

There are 6 front court players (plus Andrea) listed on the roster, so it's conceivable Subasic could get some minutes as part of a regular rotation. If healthy, I think she could merit that. We'll see; glad she's back. Also pleased to see Andrea is still here and will be part of the team for 4 years. Classy move on OSU's part.

I agree that it is a class move on OSU's part. And, if we ever get to hear the complete story on AA, I think it will make Coach Rueck and the entire program look even more classy.
As far as Subasic is concerned, I'd sure like to learn more about her reported injury this past season. It was almost impossible to assess her game because of her lack of court time, and when she did get on the floor none of us knew if she was at 100%, or 50% - so to speak...Will the upcoming season be her 6th season of college ball? Or fifth? GO BEAVS!!

I think with a totally healthy roster, her minutes are match-up dependent if a team/player is too quick for Jelena and Taylor is in foul trouble. Of course, this portends that KB isn't bumped up to the 5 in that situation. Clearly there is nice depth in the front court, but that assumes full health for all, and all of these players have had major injuries at one time or another in their high school or college career. A year in the system, good size and a nice 3 pt shot. No downsides here from my perspective.

Whoa! the only players that will be on next seasons roster that won't have at least TWO seasons of eligibility remaining at the start of the 21-22 season are Mack, Subasic and Tea Adams. The High School graduating class difference in the 22-23 season between Corosdale & Timea Gardiner will be 5 full years!

Wow, they usually don't update the roster until july-aug ! Nice ! Yeah, Oregon State is the only Pac-12 WBB team to have updated their roster so far for the 2021-22 season. Normally they are one of the last few teams in the conference to do so. I like the improvement! Now hire two new, great coaches!

Good news if she is healthy. Adds needed depth on the front line

You want potential assistant coaches to see how loaded of a roster we have......and perhaps even ask them questions about how they would approach utilizing our considerable talent.... Because you are right - usually I am looking forward to the roster being updated about the same week I am scanning the schedule to figure out the oddball times for the first few exhibition games. Go Beavers!!

Someone recently asked when the new players would arrive this summer. I can't remember which thread that was in, but I noticed that A.J. replied to Talia on Instagram yesterday saying '52' days. That would mean she would be arriving right around Father's day.
Summer workouts will be a bit interesting. I'm not sure which player will be the leader. Taya had last year working with Aleah as a leadership team, but Aleah seemed to take charge, and Taya has been pretty quiet.
