Not a surprise, but will still miss him in orange and black. Congrats on a great career ET! This run doesn't happen without him!

I hope that ET, ST and TT are all more appreciated as time goes by.
They were all unfairly attacked on this board.

ET delivered me more March joys than any OSU great in my lifetime. He stands unrivaled for me personally at this point, because he didn't close with a heartbreak. And after watching him try to beat a UP team with the same mid-range fadeaways and tuning OSU subsequently out for a good chunk of the season, it was surreal to see the same play/player carry us to the Elite 8. Each game felt like a scripted movie that was too poorly written to be believable, and yet it just kept going.

But po tay toe, po tah toe. Maybe. But, I thought it was unfair that both ST & ET were criticized as a PG when they were asked to fill that position (which I don't think was their natural position)

Really solid player. So glad he ended his career on a high note. Thank you Ethan for being a beaver!

Really solid player. So glad he ended his career on a high note. Thank you Ethan for being a beaver! With all the hype his brother and Tres got... I felt like there was a lot of questions and he faced a lot of scrutiny headed in to this year. They can't say Elite like Ethan can. Memories forever my friend. Thanks!

The way ET led us through that late season run was nothing short of incredible, just absolutely incredible. Watching him and his teammates here back east was just so, so much fun! Here, nobody (except us alums) followed OSU, nobody cared about OSU, and yet there they were - with well over 300 DI teams in the mix there were just eight left standing, and well..all of you know how that felt.
It was a lifetime of memories packed into just a few weeks. It wasn't all him, but I don't think we could ever heap enough praise on that young man for all that he did for OSU. I'd be all for a statue in front of Gill. We've long needed one there anyway - why not ET?
All I can say is, GO BEAVS! What a run!

Ethan certainly has secured his spot as a great player and leader at OSU. If this begins a 5-10 year period where we are consistently in the top 1/3 of the PAC, and regular tourney attendees, he will be among the top in my view. Lots of people can keep a good thing going. Those that can help turn a bad situation into a good one are very special. I actually learned that at OSU... Go BEAVS.
