Don’t even get into the complexities of a player with a hip injury...a real can of worms. Many folks don’t know this, but Coach Riley was dangerously close to violating the law with his winning post game celebrations. He was cheering hips, not disclosing the downsides of hips

The college agreements are much different than the pro leagues that have players’ associations negotiating everything for them. And linking an article that relates to college betting has little to do with the current situation. At some point it may happen, but right now schools are not releasing injury info and they are using HIPAA as their reasoning for doing so. Using HIPPA as the reasoning is the red herring that was referred to. To say that a coach cannot release injury info regarding college players is not correct. My point was that all of the coaches are using HIPAA as their reasoning for not disclosing. Until that changes and they are required to disclose, you’re not going to get that info. And, don’t eat red herring, that will give you salmon-illa.

My bad on the idea he was going to play - I took that information from the pre-game preview in the fish wrap ! Guess, I trusted their ability to get an OSU Fact correct ! Never again ...

I just hope he's back this weekend. We really need his bat in the lineup going forward.

I just hope he's back this weekend. We really need his bat in the lineup going forward. When Melton comes back. Does he stay in the lead off spot or get moved back in the order? I'm putting him in the 1 or 3 spot, but haven't decided yet. Its a tough call.

Canham didn’t say that. It’s related to the shoulders. Perhaps only by marriage.

He's played 18 Pac 12 games and is hitting .206 SLG% .279 OB% .280 If Pac 12 pitching continues to be "kryptonite" for Armstrong's bat, then he needs to move down in the order.

Southern Cal starting pitching this weekend most likely will be: 1) Esqueda LHP 2) Champlain RHP 3) Cornwell LHP I expect us to hit Champlain and Cornwell pretty well. If our pitching performs as expected we win the series easy. USC is batting .252 overall and .236 in conference, its a match made in heaven for our pitching staff. They should be salivating at this opportunity.

Their righty starter (Champlain) has given up 8 HR in 52 ip.
Hopefully: a.) Joe Casey can refrain from swinging like Arnold Palmer; b.) Fuchs continues his excellent plate appearances; and c.) Melton is in the line-up.
