This will be interesting, I think the field is set and the Beavs are going to be on the west coast... A crazy year and, maybe, just maybe, our Beavs are peaking at the right time... A Super Regional would be a great accomplishment but attainable the way our guys are playing right now... I can hope can't I?

On other posts some of you think we shouldn't be in the tourney because apparently we wouldn't be good enough and wouldn't compete. ANYTIME you have a chance to make the tourney you take it. When you don't make it it is used against you in recruiting. If you aren't on the dance floor you can't dance.

Remember UCLA is bottom of Pac 12 standings. 1 game ahead of the Cougs with one to play. After the utes I'd almost say the Cougs are the surprise team of the Pac 12. 11 wins(so far?) I think Marty has em going.
A Regional Final would be fantastic. We won't be on the (B)est coast. Eckardt & Fehmel and pray for rain? Doesn't quite have the same ring as Spahn & Sain and pray for rain. Our pitching will determine how far we go.
Nick Madrigal back is a huge help. Huge. With Logan slumping we are going to need help in the middle of the order. Or a night on the town at Lamplighter

I know it's semantics, but Logan isn't slumping, he has to be exhausted. He has appeared in every game, and has started all but 5. Without a backup he just has to keep grinding.

It is painful even to watch Logan heading to the dugout after an inning. Guy is tough as can be, but he is running on fumes.

He is exhausted

I was sure of that Tigardbeav. We tend to think of these kids in the black and orange as "our kids", so as a rule we take ownership.

Two minutes before the announcement. How many hosting bids does the West Coast get? You would think that there has to be at least one for TV, if nothing else. Tucson seems to have that on lock down with Arizona's high RPI. Gonzaga would be second in line, but I do not know, if they bid. The committee really wants to put one in Arizona State's new stadium, but USC winning by 22 in the seventh does not bode well for the Sun Devils' chances. Next in line would be Cal State Fullerton, but I could only see the Titans hosting as a two at best. Unless Fullerton is a host, Oregon State is travelling east of the Rockies.
