And that should tell you that Arizona knows what's coming. How the guy has dodged bullets this long is amazing. He is a slime ball......

I can’t believe they actually pulled the trigger. It’ll be interesting to see where he lands.

I don't understand why it took so long for UA to do this, but of course I don't know the level of details that the university would have. But it seemed clear that this wasn't going to end well, and that they would need to make a change. An incoming coach doesn't yet know how severe the penalties will be to the program, so makes the program unattractive until that's clarified as well. The IARP might be the slowest moving committee in the history of slow committees.
Having a hamstrung UA sure doesn't hurt my feelings any.

How many players are going to jump ship? As soon as UA misses the first payroll they’re gone.

How many players are going to jump ship? The Wildcats were already losing at least six to draft declarations or transfers. George Washington got one transfer. Washington got another. Two others are still looking for a team.

My baxwards brain did a double take at the pic at the top of this article - looks like a deputy is leading Miller out from a holding room while he uses a piece of paper to cover up the cuffs! (I know, I know, at least one wrist is obviously free. But it's the look on the coach's face...)

Olsen was a cheater. Miller is a cheater. What makes anyone think the next UA coach won’t be the same. Is Altman a candidate? While this article mostly states the obvious, it is a fine piece of writing on Sean Miller, the fact that UofA MBB and the athletics dept. is a bunch of spineless, cheating, unethical scumbag sellouts - like most major "successful" programs, the author posits with a broad brush that damns the sport, the NCAA, and the schools. Unfortunately it also mentions LSU reminding me of that debacle (did we really hire a prez name F*king out of that wretched hive of scum and villainy?). For bonus points, it references Kelvin Sampson........Anyway, I don't have that many UofA friends, but I will tuck this URL away to send them when they get too insufferable....... sports.yahoo.com/sean-miller-firing-college-basketball-losing-ncaa-case-235343119.htmlGo Beavers!
