Maybe more fun is trying to identify the 40 by the logos posted. Unless I'm mistaken I believe #24 is a toilet seat. Am I seeing that right?

It really highlights importance of the non-conference games. Losing to good teams is acceptable, but a Pac-12 team cannot lose to EITHER Wyoming or UofP, much less both, and expect consideration for national rankings or at-large bids. Too deep a hole, and many OSU MBB teams have failed to dig out. Very happy this one did, but it took a little luck along the way. Really really hope that this season helps with scheduling better teams in the future. Replace those Wyoming and U of P games with some higher profile games (maybe a Gonzaga, SDSU, Nevada just to name some programs close to us) and that should help with that. Would love to see some other P5 games as well, maybe a more prestigious non-conference tournament with a couple of blue bloods or pre-season ranked teams (Maui, Atlantis?). I hope they are able to get some P5 teams to play them in Corvallis.. enough of the home and home where OSU's "home" game is played in Portland but then play at the other teams actual arena the next season(like the did with St. Louis and Texas A&M) the last few seasons They will be playing in tournament in Florida around Thanksgiving though.. www.emeraldcoastclassic.com/2021-emerald-coast-classic-announcement/

HC has a lot of say in who they schedule. Don't forget there's that magic number of 20 wins. As a fan, I assume, we would like to see bigger name teams come in and play (and preferably lose). However, it has to be worth playing OSU, and we would like a good chance to win. Just saying it's complex. I'm hoping the NCAA run gets OSU invites (and accepts said invites) to bigger preconference tournaments and such. Fan base and travelling fans probably has something to do with that as well... anyway, complex.

That's an NCAA bid right there, I'll take it too - though I know the team has higher aspirations.

I guess as Beaver fans we forget that Ethan Thompson was the only player on our team this last year. Silly us.

I hope we're not getting too dyspeptic over someone's 2022 preseason rankings in April.
