I can't even guess how it will end up other than Washington at 12th and Stanford at 1st

I think this year is a bit tricky because UCLA and Arizona have some unknowns losing Onyenwere and McDonald. Similar to when no one expected OSU to be a top team after losing Weisner and Hamblin.
I could definitely see Oregon finishing in second with Boley being the only loss. Possibly Arizona and UCLA 3 and 4? Can Colorado make some noise with Hollingshed returning? USC also adds some big recruits and Washington State still has most of their team intact.
Could be another rocky season in the PAC-12 for OSU unless we get another guard or two. Starting two freshmen guards in the PAC-12 is not ideal.

Beavs will be somewhere between 4th and 6th, losing Aleah and Goforth is going to be a focus and we will not get a lot of hype until midseason I suspect. Losing 2 starters, one a program changer and a Macd. all- american is going to leave a scar for a while. not going to get a lot of respect until we show where we are.....

Not going to downgrade osu with Scott at the helm. Imo,we were a top 15 team in the country at the end,and giving Scott a full practice schedule to get the newcomers to mesh...the sky is the limit. Our last three losses were to whom the last 10-12 games...S.Carolina,and Stanford twice. Two of the final four teams...

Kennedy coming back is a big deal -- she can be a real anchor for the defense. If she also can hit her outside shots at a good percentage, and if Greta is as ready to go as I think she is right out of the gate, I think the Beavs are a top 3 team in the conference. I predicted that this past year too and we didn't quite hit that but I still think by the end we were the third best team in the conference. We just had a lot of issues in the early goings.

It’s going to be hard to say until the transfer portal shakes out. There are a LOT of good players out there.
As for OSU currently, remember we will have more McD AA’s on the court next year than we did this year, as well as a returning First Team all pac-12 player. Add in TVO who I think will just continue to improve.
My big hope for the season is Savanah is able to spend the off season shooting thousands of shots a day at the basketball center. She has special athleticism and burst, and if she can knock down shots she will be a wonderful player.
Lastly, I was watching a bit of film of Greta. She doesn’t have have Sashas length or burst, however she has a much better feel in the pick and roll. I’m not ready to say she have TVO’s court vision, which is elite, but seems to be a excellent passer.

Good point. If Kennedy can get us back to being one of the top defensive teams in the country, plus help us revert back to our average rebounding margin of somewhere like +9/10, I think we can be really good. Our defense and rebounding was really lacking last season, and I think Kennedy can help with that. I worry about scoring the ball because Ellie (if she chooses to return), Taya, and Kennedy have not shown to be big scorers. I also thought we would be really good defensively last season and not great offensively but that certainly wasn't the case.

With Transfers it is impossible to guess. Certain teams will stay good. People that do it the right way will be fine. One unknown is quality of coaches and their impact on recruiting. When Rueck came Oregon was lousy,UCLA,,USC, Arizona Schools were poor, as was Cal, Utah, etc etc. He fixed a bad program and increased interest.. Tough task.

I harp on rebounding a lot but just some numbers to show why.
When the Beav's won the rebounding battle we were 12/1 with the lone loss being in the WSU double overtime game (ie, real close).
When the Beav's lost the rebounding battle we were 2/7 with the two wins coming with very high 3 point %'s.
So if Kennedy comes back rebounding and defending then things will look better.
If Jones can figure out how to play w/o so many fouls so she can stay in the game it would be a big help. So far she's gone from 4.6 fouls/game as a Freshman up to 4.8 her Sophomore year. Not really encouraging.
Our defense is going from Sasha and Aleah for guards to Greta and Talia. There may be a slight drop in our defensive shooting %.
Don't know if Mack is coming back yet. It's all a bit up in the air for next year.

I love the question, but who wins the transfer portal is going to decide this. A couple weeks ago I would have the Beavs top three in the conference for sure and probably top 10 in the country. That changed quickly.
Just like the Beavs are a looking to get a guard, I'm sure Arizona would like to do the same. I'm hopeful the Beavs will pick up a player or two who can contribute at wing/guard. Let's see who does the best in this mini-recruiting (transfer portal) period and we'll have a better idea of what next year may be like.
Airzona in the title game is really going to help their recruting overall. I'm hearing they are doing well with Grace VanSlooten, and they continue to show up in a lot of recruits social media. UCLA fans are really disappointed in how Cori is doing in recruiting circles. They are still landing some nice players, but fans want more. Of course, that's normal of us fans.

Not really encouraging. You may want to re-check your stats on Jones' fouls per game. Your number would indicate that she fouled out nearly every game as a sophomore. Did you intend to write that Jones fouled at a rate of 4.8 fouls per 40 minutes of playing time?

There is the transfer portal, and there is also a normal pre-conference schedule. Both should be the Beavers' friend from this date forward.
I like our chances for success next year. Stanford should win the conference, but then the next 4 spots are up for grabs. Naturally, we want to win the conference, but the main thrust next year should just be getting back to a being a top 15 team and securing a 1 through 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Loftier dreams will have to wait until Raegan, Adlee, and Timea get here.

Stanford is easily the best team in the conference next year. The will lose William and likely Wilson, but bring back a loaded roster. Their only question will be back-filling at the PG spot. Either way, they win the conf next year. Two thru four will be a mix between; UCLA, UO, and OSU. The next three will be; AZ, WSU, USC. Bottom five will be; ASU, Utah, Cal, UW, CO. This is based on what we know today. The transfer portal will influence this for sure. Still so much time to debate this topic. Expect it will change, but regardless, Stanford will be on top.
