The game announcers toward the end were very hard to listen to. East coast bias drifted in.

Stanford had 12 blocks in the game, wow! 6 by Brink. Lexie missed a ton of shots but did have a double double including 13 rebounds.

The game announcers toward the were very hard to listen to. East coast bias drifted in. Usually I find when I see people complain about the bias of an announcer, it’s the individuals bias in the opposite direction that’s the issue. I didn’t think Rucco/Lobo where biased at all one way or another. |

They were still spouting off how great of a shot blocking team South Carolina is, yet Stanford won that battle 12 to 5. They never mentioned it, as far as I can recall. It was a huge factor in the game. edit - Brink is a shot block waiting to happen. Also, by "annoucers" I mean both the courtside folks AND the 3 folks in the ESPN Studio. |

It was a huge factor in the game. Well when you have your established talking points before the game, it's asking too much to change them to actually match what's happening on the court. Announcing is hard. |

Now talking about the studio folks that is something I agree with. Studio analysis is usually pretty bad, but I find it particularly awful in the women’s game. |

Their D is catching UConn off guard. Forcing TOs. 9-6 Cats at the first media break.

BS charge call against Aari takes away a basket. On the replay you can clearly see Westbrook moving and leaning further over the whole time, she was never at any point set. Should've been an and-1.

She's a Jekyll and Hyde player and the good version didn't show up today. |
