Looks like Ethan Thompson sitting behind home plate. Withdrawal symptoms already?

The interesting question now becomes who will start on the mound for the Beavers on Thursday. If it isn't JakeP, he is nicked in some manner. If it isn't Pfennigs, Abel or Washburn?

Abel, Hjerpe, Pfinnigs. Abel and Hjerpe had amazing stuff, pitch counts fairly low and they threw some fairly stress free innings. Utah was knocking the stuffing out of the ball on Sunday, I'd do everything I could to shut them down before they get started.

Just a thought - the coaches are working around Easter Sunday.
Pfennigs goes Thursday against the Utes, Abel as usual on Friday, and Hjerpe as usual on Saturday.
That means Jake gets an extra 2 days of rest before going on Sunday in the next series.
Abel and Hjerpe are in sync with their normal Friday-Saturday routine.

The Pfennigs skip on UW after the rain postponement puts Abel and Hjerpe in their normal starting days. I am still concerned about the early pull of JakeP in the final WSU game when he was pitching very well and had a low pitch count.

What a difference in broadcasting. UW was horrid and UP was very good. Looks like Melton has earned PT and Donkey needs more time in the cage! I not sure they even tried to throw him a FB.
