I’m going with Stanford, Maryland, UConn and NC State. I’d really like to see the Bueckers/Clark matchup, but we’ll be at 35k feet. Go Beavs!

Hagler/Hearns, but then that may date me. I don’t see Texas A & M moving on. Big adrenaline dump after last game that went to OT.

Don't look up to the task after last round. Anyway A&M has gotten a boost from the zebras in both games in the Tourney, shouldn't have won either of them. Why stop now?

Arizona did not look on their game. Agree with that.

Did you get a chance to watch Michigan? They remind me of the beavs when things are going right. Great team concept.

Crafty, good athlete, can create her own shot, looks to score, etc. A Maryland vs. South Carolina matchup would be intriguing. Maryland has a great offense and South Carolina a great defense. Can Maryland stop Boston?

So nice to see someone else get to deal with Arizona, they were at their best, now more of the world knows about life in the Pac-12

Michigan almost beat Baylor...and maybe they would have if they were not missing their starting point guard (Amy Dilk) who is also very good.

I could see Beers bringing a similar game to the low post. Beers doesn't appear to be quite as quick as Hillmon, but as has a little bit of quickness to her and (watching the video of her dunking the medium-sized ball) has some nice hops at 6-3. She brings the workhorse/blue-collar mentality. Arizona was really good yesterday. McDonald especially. I'm interested to see them next year without her. There will still be talent, but they rely on her a lot. Louisville has not looked great recently, so I would not be surprised if they lost to Oregon.

Nugget of info here: overhead a conversation with a Michigan player's dad while we were in Austin last week....apparently all teams were being housed in San Antonio and given police escorts to their games in Austin. Probably to keep the bubble as small as possible. I'm sure it wreaked havoc with traffic on I-35. With the exception of Geno, everything appears to be going OK. (knock on......)

If the NCAA is holding true to form, the 'police escort' will be driving 1986 Toyota Corollas.
