So far Staley vastly out-coached SR. They have solved our offense by being able to help-defend quicker and can stop Aleah at the bucket after she commits, and can pick off the pass over the top to the post. The are also still getting out on the 3 point shooter on the kick-out before Taya can get it off. He's gong to have to make some changes or any comeback is going to be real tough.
Meanwhile, their bigs are simply quicker. Our perimeter players have sag and not let her put the ball on the ground - force the kick-out and make them beat us from outside. We simply cannot defend them once the ball gets to the post.

Worst half of the year? Bad time to miss every shot we take. We look super tight. Hope Rueck can get their heads straightened out at half. Make a couple 3s and were right back in this thing!

Let's hope for the repeat of the last time they had a 5pt quarter... 31 points in the 3rd. I think this is winnable if turnovers stop and shots start dropping.

Didn't like this matchup when I saw the brackets. Curb stomped by Louisville in the Tourney 2 years in a row. Now this. It's not like the Beavs never face quick, athletic, pressuring D in the Pac 12. For whatever reason when they see it in post season they have a meltdown.

If they had hit a few of their wide open 3s this is a tight game. Lots of sloppiness too, but it started with missing shots they’ve drained for 2 months.

The are better, but we are playing scared of them. We aren't competing like we think we can hang - that's what's disappointing.

Best thing Rueck can do for the season 21/22 is schedule South Carolina and maybe another top ten team. They need to learn from this type of competition.

We have a third post let her make Boston foul her to move anywhere would be my game plan. This is when Taylor needs to be a 4.

OSU hung w/ Stanford for 3/4 or at least half of a game before getting blown out. Nothing will convince me South Carolina is better than Stanford. This is just a terrible showing.
South Carolina had plenty of close games in conference. Have you seen how bad SEC teams are showing in the Tourney?
